Der Radarturm ist im Zuge der Modernisierung des Flughafens und zur Sicherung des Flugverkehrs im Jahre 1955 errichtet worden. Gesamthöhe des Turmes 35 m, Größe des Radarschirms 3 x 4 m, Reichweite etwa 80 km. Am 26.02.1970 wurde er abgebrochen.
